We caught up with Elliott Banks-Browne on how his season has gone so far…
Yea the season as been going pretty good. We have had a few unfortunate things happen such as a freak crash at Preston in practice resulting in a fracture to my wrist which I had just about got over by Sherwood. I showed there what I’m capable of on my day and felt we had everything in place and felt so good on the bike and fit but unfortunately in the week after
I had a big crash at a local race and broke a bone in my back and ripped the tendon off my little finger and broke that as well, so yea the last few weeks have been tough to say the least but we’ve got through it and we are still in contention.
I’ve loved racing the Michelin Mx Nationals this year and am really looking forward to Cusses Gorse, it’s a track I really enjoy and it will be nice to get onto a hard pack track that I feel suits me more. I feel in all the championships this year we have not had a good enough mix of tracks with the majority being sand so it will be nice to finish it off with a nice rutty, jumpy track.
